Our Pathways housing program aims to support people experiencing mental health issues and homelessness to stabilise recovery, increase community engagement and support individual goals toward independence.  

How it works
How ICLA’s Pathways team can assist you.

6-18 months transitional supported accommodation in one of our newly refurbished properties in Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction or Woolloomooloo.  

Community participation activities such as recovery groups and BBQ lunches.

Assistance with applications, referrals and more to develop individual pathways to independence.  

Provision of a fully furnished home with all utilities covered for the duration of the program stay.

Support to transition to fully independent living, including relocation assistance and financial planning. 

Where demonstrated capability of maintaining tenancy, ICLA can provide support to obtain private rental on exit of program stay. 

Who's eligible?
And how to participate.

Receiving a Disability Pension (DSP). 

People aged 18-64 of all genders.

No serious substance use within the past 12 months.

Must be eligible for social housing.

At risk of homelessness.

People with mental health conditions or a psychosocial disability who aren’t at risk of suicide and have an active care team (GP, Psychiatrist, Community Mental Health etc).

Have willingness to participate in monthly recovery focused activities.

No current aggressive, violent or sexual offending behaviour.
