What is the ICLA Pathways Housing Program?
The ICLA Pathways Program is an everyday life changing initiative. If you are experiencing homelessness, this program can provide you a safe space to stabilise your recovery, increase your community engagement, and support your individual goals towards independence. It can provide you with the opportunity to develop strong friendships with your fellow housemates and bond over shared interests.
What support does the Pathways Housing Program offer?
The Pathways Program provides transitional housing for up to 18 months in one of our properties located in Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction or Woolloomooloo. Our range of transitional housing is suitable if you are looking for an apartment to twin share with another program participant. If you are eligible to the program, you will receive a fully furnished and ready to move-in home.
Our program runs on a fee-based model that includes the following two components:
1. Rent: In accordance with Social Housing guidelines, transition housing rent is calculated as 25% of the resident’s fortnightly income + applicable rent assistance.
2. Utilities, furnishing and program fee: A fortnightly fee of $50 + any applicable energy supplement to cover ongoing costs, including access to WIFI, minor repairs and maintenance, power, pest control and common-area cleaning.
What makes our Pathways Program different?
Life can pull you in many directions, and at times a helpful hand is all that’s needed to get back on track. Our Pathways Program exists to help you get back on your feet and working towards an independent, confident, and fulfilling lifestyle.
