What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?
Positive Behaviour Support is a person-centred, capacity-building support under the NDIS. We help you to understand the factors that drive behaviour, identify your meaningful goals, and create proactive, evidence-based plans that are aligned with your values and vision. Our approach doesn’t just respond to behaviour, it anticipates, prevents, and supports long-term positive change.
How does our PBS service work?
We partner with you to navigate the complexities of behaviour support, giving you the strategies, tools, and confidence you need.
Our practitioners will:
- 1. Understand Your Plan & Funding
- 2. Create Your Personalised BSP
- 3. Support Your Natural Supports
- 4. Review & Adapt Your Plan
Work with you to analyse your NDIS plan, understand what PBS funding you have, and recommend how to use it effectively.
Support you in building behaviour support plans (BSPs) that are tailored around your unique needs, strengths, and aspirations.
Train and support your natural supports (family, carers, staff) on how to implement your BSP consistently.
Regularly review and adapt your plan with you, ensuring it stays relevant, practical, and effective.
What PBS services can you support me with?
Depending on your NDIS plan, you may have different levels or types of PBS funding. Our service is flexible, we support:
Behaviour Support Planning
Help in developing a BSP, including assessments, functional behaviour analysis, and proactive strategy development.
